ITHACA, NY(SMI-GLOBAL-WOMEN-SPORTS-UNIVERSITY-03-21-03.24, 2026)-The West Chester University women's gymnastic team concluded its season with 8th place finish at 2026 GEC Women's Gymnastic championship with a team score in session I and overall of 192.250, and Penn winning its fifth GEC Crown  with overall score of 195.025 at Cornell University in Ithaca NY.

The Golden Rams were led by Gianna Smith who finished 2nd in the All around with 37.975 and Ascha Lair shared 4th place with 3-others in the Uneven Bars.

​Note: Sophia Dewar (Brown Floor), Nova Staruk (Bridgeport U. Vault), Jordan Barrow (Penn Vault), Manama Fofana (Penn floor), and SCSU's Abby Royer (floor) were selected as part of the five GEC gymnasts that qualified for the 2026 NCAA Lexington Regionals in Kentucky.​
